International Fashion Show 2012
The Spanish Club, with the cooperation of Phi Sigma Iota, held their first annual fundraiser fashion show on Friday, March 23, 2012. Students paraded the catwalk at Marsh Hall cafeteria to the beat of international music and wild applause. The clothing highlighted international designers and was donated by Quincy Fashion of Quincy, MA. Intermission entertainment was provided by G3L, a comedy troupe that wowed the audience and models alike.
The fashion show was not only fun for all involved, models and spectators alike, it was also a great success! The students raised nearly $700 from raffle tickets and donations. The money will be used to establish scholarships for meritorious students in language studies.
